TESTIMONIALS
"We use Pipe Down for most of our Commercial Plumbing needs. The staff working for Pipe Down is top notch, polite and skilled at what they do. Pricing is always fair and reasonable. They have done almost everything from repairs to new plumbing and never had an issue with the work. We have had 2 major building damage events in the last few years and Scott and crew dropped everything to help us out and get us back up and running quickly. We appreciate it very much." - Tim
"Called Pipe Down with a clogged kitchen sink. We set up an appointment for the next day. Chris came and worked on a stubborn clog for almost 2 hrs. Since Pipe Down charged a flat rate for the clogged sink I wasn't worried about how long it took. Other places wanted $95 the first half hour, and $95 each additional hour after that. Chris was very polite and courteous. After clearing the clog, he checked and made sure the garbage disposal was tight. I loved that he wore shoe covers in the house, so I didn't have to worry about him tracking other jobs into my house. I was very pleased and will call again." - David T.
"Hi Scott, Just wanted to thank you and Carl for s great job. Carl did an outstanding job..both installing the new water heater and the plumbing work in our barn..Such a pleasure doing business with a terrific company as your company. We would highly recommend you to any and all who need plumbing work. Thanks again...and the best to you and your crew!!!! Take care, Ron and Maria"
"After a few leaks caused by frozen and cracked pipes, and several attempts to prevent this from happening again, we knew we had to call in a professional. Scott was recommended to us through some friends. He stopped over to analyse the problem and suggested a couple of options. We went with his recommendation and had him replace the pvc piping with flexible Pex tubing. We haven't had an issue since. Pipe Down Plumbing Service was quick and reliable. I would definitely use them in the future." - Rachel
Frequently Asked Questions
WHY IS MY TOILET RUNNING?
A running toilet that continuously feeds the tank, or even just occasionally refills unexpectedly can be an annoyance, but it doesn’t seem like a big deal… until the water bill shows up. Luckily, the fix for a running toilet is well within the ability of most DIY-ers. If you don't have the time or gumption to take this on yourself, give us a call.
WHERE IS THIS LEAK COMING FROM?
It often starts with a water stain on a ceiling or wall. Water leaks can be infuriating to track down because water will often travel over joists or other structural material, not falling onto ceiling or wall covering until it gets far enough away to confuse even the veteran handyman. Give us a call to help track down your water leaks.
WHAT CAN I PUT IN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL?
There’s no shortage of advice available on what can or can’t be put in a garbage disposal. The one universal is: never put anything in the disposal that you wouldn’t chew up and swallow yourself. So no plastic, glass, or other non-biodegradable items. If you don’t have a garbage disposal or if you need to install a new one, give us a call for a free estimate.
WHY DO MY PIPES KNOCK?
Knocking pipes are caused by poorly secured piping, or by air bubbles being compressed in the pipes. Neither issue is a major cause for concern. Loose pipes can be secured with proper fittings, so that they don’t shake during operation. If the problem is being caused by air bubbles, the line can bled as required, or water hammer arrestors can be installed to give the air bubbles room to harmlessly expand. Call us and we'll make the proper and quick repair to silence that knock.
